In California you would expect to find amazing Mexican food but I’m my 20 years of living here I’ve only ever found 2 places that are actually amazing quality. The first one is down south and it was my go to Mexican restaurant, but one day I was coming out of a movie with my mom, saw this sign and stopped here. I ordered the same burrito I always get which is bean and cheese burrito, sour cream, potatoes, eggs and rice and it blew me away. I no longer eat at the other restaurant because palominos has better quality then what I thought was the best Mexican food I can find. The portions are big so I usually get to have it for lunch and dinner, or dinner and lunch the next day for a pretty great prices. If you like GOOD quality Mexican food and an owner that is always incredibly nice and in a great mood, please come here because you will not find better Mexican food in San Diego in telling you. ”
